Gold City - Immersive Room with a Tile-Based Game for Pegadaian's Tring! Activation Campaign
An immersive room with a tile-based game attraction inside, designed for an activation event where users can collect as many points as possible to win real gold prizes.
An immersive room titled “Gold City” was also added to the venue area during the final period of Pegadaian’s Tring! app launch activation at Terowongan Kendal, Jakarta.
Open to the public from December 8, 2025 to January 8, 2026, the room lets visitors not only enjoy beautiful projected visuals, but also play a tile-based game attraction inside.
As in the previous periods, visitors can participate in the campaign by registering or topping up. In each game session, visitors can collect scores and win a prize of 0.5 grams of real gold from Pegadaian if they place in the top three scores.
In this project, I worked as a Unity Developer and was responsible for implementing the entire game system, including the core loop, gameplay, Unity integration with the sensor to make the floor interactive, UI/UX, and the player leaderboard back end.
Unlike my previous interactive floor projects, this interactive floor mechanism was powered by a Siminics PAVO LiDAR sensor. This became the biggest challenge in the project because there was no official API support for Unity integration. Because of that, I needed to do extensive research and make custom technical adjustments so the sensor data could be read and processed properly inside the game system.
Here are several implementation previews from the work I handled.
