During the second period (November 8-December 8, 2025) of Pegadaian’s Tring! app launch activation campaign at Terowongan Kendal, the “Tangkap Emas” game was added to the venue area to bring in a fresh atmosphere.

Combining Augmented Reality (AR) technology with First-Person Shooter (FPS) style gameplay, “Tangkap Emas” invites passing visitors at Terowongan Kendal to participate in the campaign, hunt virtual gold through the camera, collect as many points as possible, and win a prize of 0.5 grams of real gold from Pegadaian.

In developing the “Tangkap Emas” game, I worked as a Unity Developer and was responsible for implementing the entire in-game system, from the core loop and AR-FPS gameplay to NDI streaming, UI/UX, and the player leaderboard back end.

For me, the biggest challenge in this project was implementing gameplay streaming from the player’s Android device to the large screen displayed in the tunnel. This was important because Terowongan Kendal is a strategic and busy location connected to four modes of transportation at once.

Even so, everything eventually ran smoothly thanks to extensive research into NDI technology and a clear understanding of the local network installation needs on-site.

Here are several implementation previews from the work I handled.
