An interactive AI face-swap photobooth designed for the invited guests of BPKRI’s UN BoA Member Candidacy Celebration to get closer to Indonesian culture by imagining themselves transformed into representations of five Indonesian regional cultures.
On November 3, 2025, the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPKRI) held a celebration for Indonesia’s selection as a Candidate Member of the UN Board of Auditors (UN BoA).
For this occasion, I contributed to the development of an AI photobooth experience titled “Discover Your Indonesia Persona”.

This photobooth was presented as an interactive medium for invited guests to get closer to Indonesian culture while imagining themselves transformed into representations of five Indonesian regional cultures: Aceh, Kalimantan, Java, Bali, and Papua.
The visual transformation process uses a combination of AI face-swap technology based on the InsightFace model and AI photo restoration based on the GFPGAN model, producing transformation photos that are realistic, sharp, and still authentically represent each cultural character.
